Desmond O'Hagan and Peggy Olsen

The Gallery is pleased to present paintings by Desmond O'Hagan, an artist new
to The Gallery and Peggy Olsen, an artist who has shown with us for several
years.

O'Hagan studied at the Colorado Institute of Art. His uniqueness comes from
his versatiility in the subject matter he paints, from figurative and
landscape to urban scenes of he city and the quiet emotional quality of light
captured in his oil paintings. He has won many awards and is listed in Who's Who in
American Art.

Olsen is well known for her oil paintings of the California hills. She
simplifies her compositions resulting in overlapping mountain ranges, painted in
harmonious color schemes of ochers, pinks and oranges. Included in this
exhibit are two new scenes of the Marin landscape.
