The Gallery will be exhibiting new oil and watercolor paintings
by the artist, Hermand Raymond through the
month of May and part of June. Raymond was born in New York
city in 1924. He studied at the famous Art Students
League (New York) in the early 1950's. Before his 21st birthday
Raymond won first place honors in a Whitney Museum competition.
In 1955 he was chosen by Art In America as the "new talent
in America" competition. His work
is in many prestigious collections. Raymond continues to paint
daily and we are very pleased to have
these new paintings for this exhibition.
