Michael Kirschel is a gifted young artist who has studied locally and abroad.
Best known for his lush still life paintings, Mike is equally competent in
portraying the landscape and the figure. His painterly style is fresh and free,
"the poetic expression of the artist's state of mind in response to his
subject". He teaches plein aire and studio workshops
in the Bay Area.
